Transition Time.

Today was a perfect fall day in Portland, Oregon.

The morning started off chilly and foggy and, by noon it was bright and the air had a choice of crispness or warmth, depending on which side of the street you were standing. Leaves are beginning to morph into vibrant colors and sweaters are now acceptable gear!

Our French Quarter stores are also going through a period of change as we get ready for the holiday decorating and shopping season. The professional and hard-working staffs in our stores have been extremely busy the past couple of weeks unpacking new merchandise, organizing shelves and rearranging the stores.

Maddie and Syslee joined me for our holiday buying spree in September and they're proud of their fresh and exciting choices.

And so am I! I'm always reassured when I walk into one of my own stores and feel like shopping in them, because it takes a lot of excite me!

Here's a link to photos of both Portland stores so you can see the results of all the hard work!
